St Helena Hospice helps local people face incurable illness and bereavement, supporting them and their families, friends and carers. For the third consecutive year, Tree & Lawn Company are delighted to be sponsoring the Christmas Tree-cycle!
The annual Christmas Tree-cycle allows St Helena Hospice to raise even more money so that they can care for the people that need them in our community. Also, supported by Colchester Borough Council, a large number of volunteers give up their time to go out and collect trees.
This year’s collection will take place on Saturday 11thJanuary.
We are delighted to be invited to participate with the Tree-cycle collections for the third year running and to also be able to make a donation for sponsoring this important fundraising event, in the knowledge that this not only benefits the local community but the environment as well.
Last year was an incredible success! St Helena Hospice saw the biggest Christmas Tree-cycle to date, with over 1,660 trees collected and with an average generous donation of over £10 per tree, £20,000 was raised for St Helena Hospice.
Don’t fancy lugging your Christmas tree to the recycling centre after your festivities? We don’t blame you! Keep your tree out of landfill after the holidays and feel good, knowing that your donation will support people in your local community.
It’s as simple as that! This year we are collecting from postcodes in CO1- CO9 and CO11. Find out all the information here.
If you can volunteer your time for collections or if you have a van you could donate for the day, please contact Liz Wilby on 01206 931468 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
From everyone at Tree & Lawn Company, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing you in the community during the Christmas Tree-Cycle 2020!
