NPTC
The organisation provides a wide range of land-based qualifications. The portfolio of skills training has a strong focus on short courses to deliver the specialist skills required for a certificate of Competence (CoC) qualification. Some of these qualifications are required for Licence to Practise activities or for membership of a CPD register.
The qualifications provided by NPTC are developed with industry experts and employers to ensure that they support the skills needs of today’s industry.
IPAF
Tree & Lawn Company Ltd are accredited members of IPAF, The International Powered Access Federation which promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide in the widest sense – through providing technical advice and information; through influencing and interpreting legislation and standards; and through safety initiatives and training programmes.
ROLO
ROLO stands for the Registration of Land Based Operatives. The organisation provides extensive training in Health and Safety procedures to ensure employees are fully conversant with current legislation and regulations. Tree & Lawn Company Ltd as an accredited member have utilised this important training provision to ensure the quality and safety of our services.
Lantra
Lantra Awards are provided in a multitude of disciplines right across horticulture, agriculture and landscape. Their training is geared towards specific skills including tree inspections, and we are one of the few companies in the region who have an incumbent fully awarded Lantra Tree Surgeon to carry out tree inspections and produce professional reports for individual and groups of trees.
