  • Tree-related subsidence: This issue arises when tree roots cause soil shrinkage, potentially damaging your home’s structure. Awareness and management of trees near buildings are crucial to prevent structural harm. We provide a range of strategies like species selection and expert consultations to ensure your property remains safe and intact.
  • Decay detection and management: Contrary to popular belief, decay doesn’t have to spell the end for a tree. Our specialists use the latest techniques to diagnose and manage decay, providing detailed reports on the structural condition of your trees and recommending actions to preserve their health and longevity.
  • Tree heritage assessments: These evaluations determine the historical and environmental importance of trees on your property. Knowing the heritage value of your trees can guide landscaping decisions, enhance property appeal, and fulfil local planning requirements by ensuring compliance with environmental conservation regulations and local planning guidelines, facilitating a smoother approval process.

Domestic Tree Inspection Service FAQ

Why are tree inspections necessary for homeowners?

Tree inspections at home are crucial to keeping your garden safe and splendid. They help identify any potential hazards your trees might pose, ensure they're healthy, and let you meet local council requirements if you're planning any development. It's all about peace of mind, knowing that your trees are contributing to the beauty and safety of your home.

How often should I have my trees checked?

Just like a car needs regular check-ups, so do your trees! The ideal frequency for tree inspections varies, depending on factors like the tree's age and species, and where it's located in your yard. We're here to help determine the best schedule, ensuring your trees stay healthy and vibrant, year-round.

What should I look for to know if my tree needs professional attention?

Wondering about the health of your trees? Keep an eye out for signs like unusual leaf loss, visible decay, or leaning trunks—these could all hint at problems. If something seems off, give us a call. We’re like the GPs for your garden, ready to diagnose and treat whatever your trees might need.

Do I need permission to remove a tree in my garden?

Before you consider removing a tree, it's important to check with your local council—some trees are protected by law. We can guide you through the process, ensuring that you comply with local regulations, and help with any necessary paperwork. Think of us as your personal navigators in the world of tree legislation!
